Delmer Leon Jarman, 87, of Jacksonville, Ill., died Dec. 23, 2021. He was born July 21, 1934, in Sorento, to John and Lucille (Caulk) Jarman. He married Carol Bekemeyer on Feb. 12,1955, and she survives.

He attended school in Sorento and graduated from Staunton High School, then continued his education at Eastern Illinois University.
