Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The Staunton High School girls basketball team played two home games last week. They defeated the South Fork Ponies, 46 - 37, on Dec. 15th.

On Dec. 16, they defeated the Auburn Trojans, 64 - 36.

Staunton 13 -21 -13-17 = 64

Auburn 8 -15 - 5 - 8 = 36

Dec. 27 - 30, the girls will be competing in the Christ Our Rock Lutheran High School tournament.

Going into the tournament, the Lady Bulldogs' season record was 9-3 overall and 1-1 in conference. They return to regular play on Jan. 3rd vs Father McGivney with a non-conference game at home. Their next conference game will be at Hillsboro on Jan. 6.
