Karen Jean Hildebrand, 75, of Gillespie, Ill., died at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2021. She was born Dec. 24, 1945, in Litchfield, to Charles and Edith (Hammann) Suhling. She married David W. Hildebrand on June 6, 1965, in Gillespie, and he survives.

She was a homemaker. Karen was a member of the Eastern Star and Home Extension.

She is survived by her husband, David Hildebrand of Gillespie; children, Sally (John) Rauzi of Carlinville, Tracey Hildebrand-Helmy of Palm Desert, Calif.; grandchildren, Seth, Zachary, Casey, Aladin; seven great-grandchildren; and...
