The Village of Livingston would like to start a cooperative effort to replace the aging holiday decorations along Livingston Avenue and Nichols Street. They are looking to local organizations, businesses and even residents willing to help purchase new holiday decorations with fund-raising efforts throughout this next year.

Members of a family could pool their money to pay for one decoration, or businesses and organizations could co-sponsor one decoration in an effort to create holiday spirit in the community.

The Livingston Park Association is offering to “kick-start” this Christmas light replacement effort by purchasing one new holiday decoration. The expense would vary from $500 to $850 depending on size of decorations.
