Nathan Colley (son of Lonnie and Connie Colley), a 2012 graduate of Staunton High School, recently earned his PhD in organic chemistry from Washington University in St. Louis.

Nathan earned his BS in chemistry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in 2016. He continued his education at Washington University where his research focused on the synthesis of mechanically interlocked chain-like molecules.

He lives in St. Louis with his wife Cecily (Haase) and daughter Felicity.

He has accepted a position as an analytical chemist with EAG Laboratories in Maryland Heights, Mo.
