Fall sports All-Conference

Staunton High School and its athletic department congratulates the football, volleyball, golf, and soccer teams All South Central Conference members.
The Bulldogs football team had five all-conference players: On offense, senior Kade Penrod, senior Keegan Ralston, and junior Jacob Dillon all made third team for their respective positions. Defensively, senior Sam Best was selected to the second team. Sophomore Braden Buffington was selected as the third team specialist as a punter.
On the court, the SHS conference champion volleyball team had four members selected to the all-conference team. The Bulldogs made up half of the six first team members. Senior Savannah Billings and juniors Haris Legendre and Kennedy Legendre were awarded first team, while sophomore Kylie Lucykow made second team.
Bulldog soccer had four of its own nominated to various all conference teams. Senior Matthew Sievers earned first team, junior Adam Overby was named to the second team, and sophomores Victor Buehler and Ashton Copeland were appointed to third team.
Brooke Kinder advanced to Sectionals for cross country.
All conference for golf were Preston Denney, Caidy Tuetken, and Jackie Vercoglio.
Broc Best advanced to Sectionals in golf.
Congratulations to all of the Staunton athletes named to an all-conference team. It is truly a sign of their hard work and dedication.
