David Crossen, 55, of rural Sorento, Ill., passed away on Thursday, Dec. 9, 2021, at HSHS Holy Family Hospital in Greenville. He was born on April 15, 1966, in East St. Louis, the son of Earl and Juanita (Wolf) Crossen. He married Lisa L. Moallankamp on March 28, 2003, in Edwardsville, and she survives.

David worked for over 40 years with the Illinois Painters Union and as a self-employed painter. He was both a bow and shotgun deer hunter, a mushroom hunter, he enjoyed fishing of all kinds and boating. David loved to grill along with that special "Stag" sauce. He was an accomplished pool pl...
