Vicki L. Neely, 65, of Mt. Clare, Ill., died at her residence on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. She was born May 14, 1956, in Alton, the daughter of the late James and Anna (Emery) Lafferty. She married Merle Joseph Neely on June 24, 1972, in Godfrey. He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2017.

She was a retired LPN. Vicki loved her dogs, camping and family.

She is survived by her sisters, Julie (Ricky) Hearn of Gillespie, Renee (Darin) Roady of Alton; brothers, James (Teena) Lafferty Jr. of Gillespie, Chris (Ronna) Lafferty of Brighton, Richard (Jamie) Lafferty of Shipman; sisters-in-law, Linda (Dale) Reels of Carlinville, Lisa (John) Katava of Wilsonville, Billie Jo Centers of Decatur; brothers-in-law, David Neely of Riverton, Timothy (Andrea) Neely of Mt. Clare; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Vicki was preceded in death by three children, Paul Joseph Neely, III, Brandy Marie Neely, Billy James Joseph Neely; and brother-in-law, Greg Centers.
