This Saturday, Nov. 20, local scout troops will be collecting food items for the annual Scouting for Food campaign. If you haven't received a bag at your house and would like to make a donation, food can be dropped off at the Cisler Real Estate office or it can be dropped off on Saturday between 9 and 11 a.m. at the scout building at 121 N. Elm Street in Staunton.

Please donate non-perishable, non-expired food items. The scouts' goal is to collect about 7,000 items that will be donated to the local food pantry.

It takes a lot of volunteers to make a project of this magnitude run smoothly....
