Staunton Star - Times - Published in the Interest of the Staunton Community for Over 143 Years

The Staunton Volleyball girls ended their year with another 30-win season.

After winning their regional competition, they advanced to Sectional at Vandalia.

In their first match the Lady Bulldogs defeated Breese Central in two sets 25-18 and 25-22. This put them in a Sectional title match vs. Breese Mater Dei.

Mater Dei, a seven-time state champion, won their 25th Sectional title by defeating the Lady Bulldogs 25-17 and 25-17.

The Lady Bulldogs gave their fans many exciting wins on their way to the sectional as they made an impressive run for State.
