In honor of Veteran’s Day, the Gillespie Public Library and the Friends of the Library will host a program about the Pacific Theater of War during World War II presented by retired high school teacher Jack Burns. Burns has given many history lectures over the years and all of them have been enjoyed by visitors.
The program is on Veterans Day, Thursday, Nov. 11, at 6:30 p.m. at Gillespie Public Library. Admission is free.
